COMMITTEES

Special Needs Children's Committee

One of our largest groups, focused on helping special needs kids throughout the state and throughout the country.  Our state project, Camp Moore - enables hundreds of children to attend a sleep-away camp in Northern NJ at no cost to the family.  Through events held

by this committee and others like it, money is raised for the campers, staff, maintenance, food, etc.  Children get to go on a trip to the beach, swim in our accessible pool, roast marshmallows at a nightly campfire, etc.

Veterans Committee

The Elks National Veterans Service Commission was established in 1946, immediately after World War II, with the sole mission of serving our nation’s veterans. The Elks are committed to their mission - “So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them.”

Today, the Elks National Veterans Service Commission has many exciting programs and partnerships catering to veterans and military members and their families.

House Committee

The House Committee is largely responsible for making the lodge tick.  It helps to manage event scheduling, our members bar, the bowling alleys, and facility rentals. They meet on the second Wednesday of each month.

Choir Committee

The Choir Committee is dedicated to building community through music and outreach.  They accomplish this through performances by their ensembles, Clarum Sonum and One New Ensemble, and can be seen performing at Elks events throughout the Northwest District. To learn more information about Clarum Sonum, please visit their website www.clarumsonum.com.
